Psychotherapy
Compassionate Counseling for Healing and Growth
At The Well, evidence-based counseling helps individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and other emotional or mental health challenges.
Our Approach
Healing begins when clients feel seen and supported in the fullness of their stories. Thus, therapy at The Well addresses more than symptoms alone. Our clinicians integrate evidence-based practices with compassionate, personalized care that honors each client’s story, relationships, values, and goals. Sessions are collaborative and tailored to your needs. Together, you and your therapist will explore patterns, emotions, relationships, and practical tools that support healing and long-term growth.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Yes, all providers accept insurance plans for services at The Well. Contact your insurance provider directly to better understand their mental health benefits, coverage, copays, and deductibles before beginning services.
-
While we prioritize in person counseling, many of our therapists offer virtual counseling sessions as a supplement for added flexibility and continuity of care.
-
Yes, we have therapists that come from a variety of Christian faith traditions. Our care integrates spirituality in a way that honors each person’s autonomy, without pressure, agenda, or assumption. If you are interested in exploring spirituality, or integrating your faith as part of your care, let our intake coordinator know so that we can match you with a therapist appropriately.
-
Several of our therapists are trained to use EMDR. This is a tool that can be used as part of the larger scope of psychotherapy.
-
Yes, several of our therapists are experienced in working with children and families. According to Dr. Dan Seigel and the field of Interpersonal Neurobiology, the strongest predictor of a child’s emotional security and developmental health is the degree to which their caregivers have processed and made sense of their own childhood experiences so they can offer consistent emotional attunement to their children. As such, at The Well, we consider therapeutic work with children to be most effective when their caregivers are also invested in the process.
