Mary Fox

Mary is in a masters program for Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Southern New Hampshire University. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology at Bridgewater State University. Since graduating from BSU, Mary’s career has been focused on working with adults with developmental disabilities. She has spent the last seven years working specifically with autistic adults. This January she became Co-Executive Director of a non-profit agency, Community
Autism Resources.

Mary uses a person-centered and approach where she focuses on building a trusting relationship with her clients and encourages growth through self-exploration. Her goal after the completion of her masters program, is to continue to work with autistic adults. In her career she has found that there are a lot of co-existing occurrences between ASD and Mental Health Diagnoses. Her experience has given her the skills to be able to meet the unique needs of her clients.

Although she has quite a bit of experience with Autism, Mary also has experience working with grief, pre and postpartum, and life transitions.

In her free time, Mary enjoys spending time with her family doing anything outside. She and her husband have two children, two dogs, a horse, and some chickens. Mary enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, and singing loud and off-key in her car!
