Kiersten Pistoor

Kiersten earned her Master's of Education in Mental Health Counseling from Cambridge College in Cambridge, MA. She received her undergraduate degree from Southern New Hampshire University, in Psychology. 

Kiersten has gained a lot of her experience working with children and their families through the roles that she has carried with the Children's Behavioral Health Initiative. She has implemented In-Home Therapy, Outpatient Therapy, Intensive Care Coordination and Crisis evaluation. Kiersten also loves to work with and has experience serving the intellectual and developmental disabilities population. Currently, on a full-time basis, serving the population of Brockton, MA, as an Integrated Behavioral Health clinician.  

Kiersten utilizes a strength-based and a client-focused approach in her sessions. Kiersten believes that when you are provided a safe space to be yourself and feel heard, that this is the making of a healthy and effective therapeutic relationship.  

In her free time, Kiersten loves to play with her puppy, enjoy the outdoors and spend time with her niece and nephew.

Téa LeBelle

Téa is a graduate level therapist studying at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Her undergraduate studies, also through the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, were in psychology and her education continues in pursuit of earning a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. Téa hopes to continue building her knowledge of the mental health field.  

Téa has experience working with stress and anxiety disorders such as PTSD, adjustment disorders, social anxiety, GAD, and phobias. She also has experience working with depression, ADHD, OCD, and other mental health disorders and symptoms. Téa has worked with children, adolescents, young adults, and families.  

Téa is intent on helping people grow through the various challenges they experience in their lives. She is a firm believer in the possibility of real change and the power in taking small steps to achieve overall healing and well-being. As a mental health professional, Téa aims to guide clients towards developing a harmonious relationship between their emotional, spiritual, social, and physical lives. Téa’s approach is a holistic, client-focused one that incorporates techniques from multiple theories such as humanistic, cognitive behavioral, and psychoanalytic in order to cater to each individual she works with and their current circumstances.  

In her personal time, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé, family, and friends. She enjoys cozying up with a good book, watching long movies, and swimming at the beach!

Courtney Cloonan

Courtney recently joined The Well as a psychotherapist. She has worked in non-profit, clinical, and educational settings with clients of all ages throughout the country and in Canada. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Louisville in Kentucky, where she specialized in school social work.

 Courtney has a passion for working with children and adolescents presenting with behavioral and developmental disorders. She also has experience working with adults and families struggling with mental health concerns. Courtney’s therapeutic style includes a range of evidence-based interventions and core frameworks including DBT, CBT, ABA, SFBT, trauma-informed therapy and expressive play and art therapy. Courtney takes a whole-person approach to psychotherapy, integrating these modalities to empower each individual to actively recognize their inherent strengths, thought and behavior patterns, resources, and challenges. She strives to create a safe, supportive environment and therapeutic relationship through empathy, trust, kindness, and humor. All of which aim to promote the client’s motivation in achieving their goals and improving overall well-being.

 When not working Courtney enjoys spending time with her family, listening to music, patio dining by the sea, and exploring new destinations both near and far.

 Courtney is excited to support the vision and mission of The Well and further cultivate and support the needs of community members through individual and group therapy.

Frederica Badoe

Frederica is a graduate-level therapist studying at Bridgewater State University. During her undergraduate career at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, she has worked with adults who had been diagnosed with schizophrenia, depression, and other mental health disorders. After graduating from university, she continued to work with adults who struggled with substance use as well as mental health. In her current role, she supports individuals who have been diagnosed with mental illness on their path to recovery by supporting the goals in their living, learning, and working environments.

Frederica enjoys working with adults, she is also passionate about working with children and families. She believes that individuals do not exist in isolation, and that family, whether blood or chosen, can play a pivotal role in one’s healing journey. Frederica’s integrative approach to therapy, is rooted in multiculturalism and incorporates techniques from humanistic, psychoanalytic, and CBT to best serve each individual as they navigate life.

As a mental health professional, Frederica’s goal is to support clients in achieving alignment and harmony in their thoughts, emotions, and actions across all areas of their lives.

Frederica’s Christian faith has been a source of hope, peace, and healing as she manages life’s inevitable twists and turns. With this belief system, she is dedicated to treating everyone with love and respect while practicing with empathy, understanding, and compassion.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling the world and experiencing new cultures. She also loves bike riding, taking pottery classes, and spending time with family and friends.

Laura Tweedy

Laura is a graduate student at Merrimack College, where she is completing her degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She previously earned a master's degree in Criminal Justice from Bridgewater State University. Laura has extensive experience working with individuals across all age groups, including roles in child protection and elderly care. Her profound understanding of generational trauma and its effects has guided her towards a career in counseling.

Laura is skilled in supporting individuals dealing with substance abuse and domestic violence. She is passionate about exploring the connection between past experiences and present challenges, working collaboratively with clients to identify what is important to them and the steps they wish to take on their journey toward healing and growth. Recognizing that each person is unique, she aims to create a therapeutic environment characterized by acceptance, empathy, and genuine connection. Laura is particularly drawn to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychoanalytic therapies, and trauma-informed practices.

In addition to her studies and counseling work, Laura is a part-time group fitness instructor, which enhances her appreciation for the mind-body connection and the positive impact of movement and exercise on mental health. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, spending time outdoors, and relaxing at home with her cat, Callie.
